dear mom ,

2010, dyed silk organza, thread, yellow legal pad, ink.

My mother was someone I spoke with nearly everyday. In her absence, I found it difficult to express all the things I felt with anyone else. Writing letters to her in the weeks after her death were both cathartic and frustrating - able to express the things on my mind, never to receive a response.
